Hoisting the conning tower base
Here the hand-winch was attached to the roll-frame under the sub, with a cable running over the sub, and down to the conning tower base. The winch was then cranked, which lifted the CT base onto the hull, rolling the hull with it. The roll-frame has worked out very well. Thanks go to Dale Heinzig for the idea!
