A near-finished pod cap.
The o-ring groove is finished. When machining the edge of these caps, they wanted to 'ring' loudly. Very much like running a wet finger around the edge of a wine glass. We had to machine very slowly to keep the caps from vibrating heavily when doing this machining. They were just like large bells.
